ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Project Description
LightWild helped the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (Sundays 8/7c on ABC) crew brighten the new home of the Turner family in Irvington, NJ. With the help of several LightWild Floor Tiles, an upstairs bedroom was transformed into a life-sized video game. The tiles were recessed into the floor using the joists just inside the door for support. Cabling was routed to the LightWild control unit in a closet inside the room. A linoleum floor was laid around the tiles for a seamless appearance. The tiles cycle through several different RGB colors when the control unit is switched on. The show, a 2-hour season finale, aired on May 21, 2006.
