LightWild Panels Shine at Valliance Bank's New Texas Headquarters

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — LightWild today announced it has completed the exterior architectural signage project for the new Valliance Bank headquarters located in McKinney, Texas. The new location opened to the public in August 2009.
The two-sided exterior sign is 17 feet (5.1 m) tall and contains 128 LightWild Panels (12x12 ins or 300x300 mm) on each side meaning 256 total Panels are in use at the site.
Each LightWild Panel is less than 1 inch (2.5 cm) tall and together smoothly illuminate the sign's 1/4 inch (.6 cm) laminated frosted glass panes with white architectural film from a close distance without hot spots.
The LightWild Panels use 36 wide beam angle cool white LEDs each as their light source.
"The product was easy to install and definitely has a glow," says Scott Ford, lead electrical contractor on the project. "It is pretty amazing."
