LightWild Ships 21,000 Meters of LED Fixtures for the Dubai Metro Project's Red Line
LightWild Linears Provide Accent Lighting Along Sides of Stations

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. LightWild today announced it has shipped more than 21,000 meters of linear LED fixtures for use on the exterior façade of 23 Red Line stations of the Dubai Metro Project. The LED fixtures illuminate the fins in the external cladding of the above-ground stations.
The Dubai Metro will be the longest fully automated rail system in the world with a total of 70 kilometers (43 mi) of lines and 47 stations, including 9 underground stations. The Red Line and a second Green Line will run underground in the city center and on elevated viaducts.
LightWild's distributor in the UAE, Gargash Lighting Systems LLC, supplied the linear products for the Dubai Metro project, which is scheduled to begin operating in September 2009.
